Bitcoin currently holds a 42% share of the crypto markets.
Ethereum is in second with a 17% market share. Followed by US stablecoin ‘Tether’ in
third with 6%.

On a list of the Top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap.
Monero ($XMR) - ranked 28th by total market cap - is the day's biggest winner.
Per CoinMarketCap, “Monero was launched in 2014, and its goal is simple: to allow
transactions to take place privately and with anonymity”.
The token rose 2.6% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $150.

On the flip side -
Quant (QNT) - ranked 45th by total market cap - is the day's biggest loser.
Per CoinMarketCap, “Quant launched in June 2018 with the goal of connecting
blockchains and networks on a global scale, without reducing the efficiency and
interoperability of the network”.
The coin dropped 10% and is currently trading at $98 dollars.

The crypto Fear and Greed Index, which analyzes emotions and sentiments from
different sources and crunches them into one simple number is currently at 34,
indicating there is “ Fear” in the markets.
