Who is in the lead? And who is gaining ground...?

We’ll start with a look at the markets.


Bitcoin is up 4.5% on the day. The price gained $1013 and its currently trading at

$23,249 dollars per Bitcoin



Ethereum is down 4.3% on the day. The price dropped $39 and its trading at $1,527

dollars per Ether



The total market cap for all cryptocurrencies rose to $1.05 Trillion.



Bitcoin maintains its dominance over the crypto markets, with Ethereum gaining a little

more ground.


Bitcoin currently holds a 42% share of the crypto markets.

Ethereum is in second with a 17% market share. Followed by US stablecoin ‘Tether’ in

third with 6%.





On a list of the Top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap…


Flow ($FLOW) - ranked 31st by market cap - is the day's biggest winner.


Per CoinMarketCap, “The Flow blockchain is a fast, decentralized, and

developer-friendly blockchain, designed as the foundation for a new generation of

games, apps, and the digital assets that power them”.


The token rose 20% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $2.



On the flip side - Ethereum Classic ($ETC) - ranked 24th by market cap - is the day's

biggest loser.


Per CoinMarketCap, “Ethereum Classic (ETC) is a hard fork of Ethereum (ETH) that

launched in July 2016.


The coin dropped 6.8% and is currently trading at $24 dollars.





The crypto Fear and Greed Index, which analyzes emotions and sentiments from

different sources and crunches them into one simple number is currently at 31,

indicating there is “ Fear” in the markets.


An improvement from last week when the market sentiment was in “Extreme Fear”.
